Are you looking for the opportunity to get back into the work force, or are you looking for a fresh challenge? If so, we have a number of administrative vacancies across Nottinghamshire which may suit your abilities.
We can offer both full and part time hours and the Council offers family friendly and flexible working practices. You will be providing administrative support to the Meeting Support Service primarily working in a Children’s Social Care setting.
You need to be organ-ised, enthusiastic and flexible and able to work on your own initiative and manage your own work load. Your duties will include issuing meeting invita-tion letters to families and professionals, distributing minutes from meet-ings, diary management, maintenance of IT systems and other generic ad-ministrative duties as required.
For some posts, there will also be the requirement to attend a variety of sensitive and confidential Safeguarding meetings to record and distribute minutes or produce summaries from recordings of meetings.
As such, for these roles, we are preferably looking for individuals who have experience of note taking/minuting meetings or demonstrate a willingness to train in this area. You will need to have proven word processing skills and a good grasp of sentence construction, grammar and spelling.
All applicants will need to be aware of the importance of maintaining confi-dentiality and acting within the Data Protection Act and General Data Pro-tection Regulations. Extensive training and support will be provided working alongside experi-enced colleagues in a supportive environment.
Closing Date: 28 September 2018
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks. Equality in Services and Employment
