Estimation Administrator / Co-ordinator

Loughborough

£17,250 – 40 hr week (Mon – Fri 8.30 – 17.00)

A great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join the commercial team of this well-established, fast growing organisation within the Construction Industry. The Commercial Administrator will be responsible for responding to customer enquires via email and on the phone and producing accurate estimations for internal and external customers within tight deadlines. This is an exciting opportunity for an administrator/co-ordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, to join a busy, friendly team. Key responsibilities –

  • Respond to email, and telephone, enquiries for quotations from Builders Merchants and Contractors ensuring that all required information is obtained, including project details, relevant dates and product requirements.
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations on our CRM system, in accordance with department procedures, ensuring these are submitted within required deadlines.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Use of a leading Project Data Base to search for Project Details
  • Work as a Team Player to ensure department KPI’s and initiatives are met.

Personal specification – Commercial Administrator:

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • NVQ 2 or GCSE passes in English and Mathematics at Grade C, or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a sales environment and within the civils industry would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of CRM systems would be a distinct advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good data entry skills, accurate with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as on own initiative
