Materials Planner / Controller
Truro , Goonhavern, Cornwall
£Competitive Salary
39 per week, Monday to Thursday 07.45am to 16.45pm, Friday 07.45am to 12.45pm
Our client has an opportunity for an organised and meticulous individual to manage stocks and plan production. You will receive materials, ensuring they are securely stored and record all details on the ERP system. You will kit and issue stock to the shop floor in line with customer requirement. You will pack and despatch the finished goods to each customer’s specification, liaising with the relevant transport company to ensure items are processed quickly and efficiently. You will manage stock levels and initiate replenishments to safety stock and kanbans. With an awareness of health and safety processes, you will ensure that all relevant processes are strictly adhered to.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous stores and stock control experience, within a manufacturing background. A team player, you will also be able to work autonomously and demonstrate a high level of initiative. You will have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP. Self-motivated, you will have a flexible approach to work and will have a keen eye for detail.
