Business Analyst

Our financial services client in central Glasgow are looking to hire a technical Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.

Desirable Skills

• Previous Financial Services or Banking experience
• A working knowledge of logical data modelling and source to target data mapping
• An understanding of both relational and dimensional Modelling techniques
• A good understanding of data lifecycle management, metadata management and data quality concepts and technologies (e.g., IBM Governance Catalogue, Trillium, IBM Information Analyzer)
• A good understanding of software delivery methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile etc.)
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications and technologies (e.g. Business Objects, IBM Data Stage, SAS, Cognos, Microstrategy etc.)
• Experience of working with third party delivery partners inc. offshore development teams
