37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permanent

The LWCT Trust Board are looking for 2 enthusiastic, motivated and innovative practitioners, with a commitment to supporting the development of our young people with a wide range of learning difficulties ranging from moderate to severe/profound across the Federation and beyond.

Working alongside the Principal Education Care Officer, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and key working for young people, who access the Maples. The Maples provides educational residential provision for children and young people, alongside short breaks working in conjunction with Social Care and Health.

A shift system is in operation including evenings and weekends. Suitable qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 3. Experience of staff supervision, knowledge of National Care Standards and previous experience of working with children within a care/residential environment beneficial. Successful applicants will be asked to undertake training, induction and observation in the setting. Minimum age 21 years.
