Product Development Engineer - Optoelectronic Packaging - Norfolk - MDO/RC72
Salary/ Benefits: GBP30k - GBP40k DOE

Job Outline:
My client, a global provider of microelectronic products, is currently searching for a Product Development Engineer to join their expanding team.
Reporting to the Engineering & Technology Development Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for defining, designing and developing Optoelectronic Packaging Solutions for harsh environment applications.
Duties include, the defining and development of manufacturing processes, testing systems and optical fibre interconnects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in optoelectronic package design and will have a working knowledge SolidWorks software.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the support and documentation of prototype builds as well as contributing towards the transfer of products from NPI (New Product Introduction) into manufacture.
This opportunity is perfect for those with an inquisitive mindset and demonstrable industry experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, as well as demonstrable industry experience. Candidates should have a strong Electronics and Optoelectronics manufacturing and design engineering background, as well as a working knowledge of Solid Works software.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
