Purpose

There is a requirement for a highly motivated and experienced Social Media & Digital Professional to join our expanding business as a Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will become part of the CRM team, in a client facing environment. The Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager will work across a broad range of diverse and successful clients, but predominantly in the retail fashion sector. Primarily responsibilities will include; devising and executing tactical Social Media Advertising campaigns; expanding XCM's understanding of the latest Social Media tactics and technologies and bespoke client work ranging from campaign development to digital testing and social media marketing plans. We are seeking an agile self-starter, with a highly-proven track record in this field, who has the will and determination to succeed and the ability to build strong relationships, not just internally, but with our clients and all our partners.

Role Responsibilities

* Manage the co-ordination, strategic planning and delivery of all paid social media advertising and related activity on behalf of XCM clients.

* Pinpointing the most relevant social platforms for our clients to achieve their goals and to ensure the most effective return on their advertising spend.

* Utilising social media channels for conversion focused remarketing campaigns through integration of first party data.

* Responsible for driving different content across the various social channels to engage audiences and stand out from the noise.

* Building and managing all associated social media and digital relationships with XCM's external partners.

* Become the 'go-to' resource at XCM on transactional social media advertising and integrated social media campaigns.

* Auditing XCM clients' current approach to social media campaigns & advertising and delivering solutions to improve and advance.

* Lead XCM's efforts around Social media listening

* Manage and deliver all relational social media reporting, analysis and benchmarking.

Experience

* A minimum of four to five years' experience in a similar role.

* Previous management of multiple social media campaigns with substantial monthly budgets.

* Past agency experience is preferential, as is the proven ability to work with multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

* Documented experience of planning, briefing, running and reporting on paid social campaigns

* Experience of working with highly targeted, multi-channel, segmented campaigns.

* Excellent, hands on experience with digital media tools, Google Analytics. Knowledge of Bid management systems also favourable.

* First class knowledge of the current and future social media landscape. You will need to be the XCM innovator for new Social Media initiatives.

* Up to date with all associated trends and best practices

* SEO experience would be beneficial

* Excellent project management skills and first-class attention to detail.

* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and the ability to 'command the room' when presenting.

* A Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.

This can be based in our York or London office however, regular travel between offices is required and travelling for client visits country wide
