The successful English Teaching Assistant will have the subject knowledge to assist with the learning process. The chosen English Teaching Assistant will be tasked with helping to raise attainment in the English department throughout KS3 - KS5. As such you will be leading intervention classes, both one-to-one with individual pupils and with small groups of both low and high achievers to ensure maximum progress is made by all. The selected English Teaching Assistant will also be entrusted with leading whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
