Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire offering an attractive salary plus bonus & benefits.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for helping the Site achieve its targets through providing planned maintenance programmes, management of capital projects from concept to completion and working with the Engineering team to develop efficient and cost effective engineering solutions for the future.

The ideal Engineering Manager:

• Able to demonstrate a comprehensive engineering knowledge gained within a manufacturing environment, ideally powder handling but not essential.
• Experience of managing a small team of 9 engineers and capex projects leading to the development and enhancement of standards.  
• An appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques such as Lean, 5s, TPM etc would be an advantage.  
• Hold a relevant Engineering Qualification.  
• Strong health and safety awareness, ideally with familiarity of ATEX/DSEAR and COMAH regulations
