Business Development Executive

GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 base + bonus and package

The role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Commercial lines team as a Business Development Executive to proactively raise our profile in the local business community, identify potential new medium sized business clients, and successfully sell the services offered by Swinton Business, working closely with broking colleagues in a geographic area.

What we are looking for

This opportunity would be perfect for a motivated executive with proven experience of business development in a regulated environment.

You will be a highly tenacious salesperson, taking accountability for your own performance, with a successful track record in business to business sales.

You will be a confident networker, capable of generating your own leads from (e.g. from telemarketing), as well as working leads provided from other sources, both over the phone and face to face.

Capable of working with minimal supervision and remotely from colleagues. Well organised team worker, able to work closely with technical broking colleagues to support pitch activity.

You will be able to provide sales advice to other colleagues in the team and be seen as a sales expert, experienced in using Social Media to raise profile and target specific customer segments.
