Warehouse Operative

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast growing company. They are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives to further strengthen their team based in Barnsley.

This is a hands-on position in a busy warehouse with multiple customer orders being dispatched daily. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy and display a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities include:
- Undertake cycle counts, stock adjustments, stock replenishment and returns
- Locate stock into racking
- Deal with returned goods from customers and suppliers
- Pick items from computer generated pick lists
- Packing and labelling of finished goods
- General housekeeping duties
- Participate in stock taking

Essential to the role requires:
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines displaying high work standards
- Excellent team working skills
- Flexibility

Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience of stock replenishment
- Clean driving licence
- Bendy &/or fork lift truck licence
