Are you an Account Manager from a Trade Sales background? Are you looking for a sales role where you will inherit over 600 existing clients with the opportunity to earn excellent bonuses?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading company in the home improvement industry and play a pivotal role by further developing these loyal accounts and sourcing new business.

This role would suit an account manager, from a trade sales background ideally within the fenestration sector, looking to join an industry leader with an excellent reputation and long-standing work force offering an outstanding commission structure.

The Company

You'll be joining a fast paced, dynamically evolving company that has experienced year on year growth for the last 10 years.

Operating in the home improvement sector, the company operate a successful nationwide trade business via their online website. Their 600+ strong trade customer base is made up of sole traders, glaziers, small to medium sized double glazing companies and property developers.

The Role

This exciting role will suit a self-motivated person who will be working from the head office forging relationships with customers, suppliers and trade partners on a daily basis.

Main Duties:

- Provide online quotes and proposals to new and existing customers.
- Support the sales process with technical advice and analysis.
- Work with their technical and support teams to provide exceptional levels of customer service.
- Hitting monthly sales and performance targets, reported to line manager.
- Develop the current customer base and introduce new business.
- Deal with decision makers in construction, building trades and architects.
- Win and deliver contracts from inception through to completion.
- Introduce new product lines to existing customer base.

To be successful you will need:

- Can offer and demonstrate a thorough technical knowledge of their products.
- Is able to display an ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels.
- Has an understanding and experience of working in the fenestration industry including knowledge of current market trends and regulations.
- Has a proven track record in trade sales and account management.
- Can learn about new product lines and share this with trade accounts.
- Experience in an account management role.
- Experience in the home improvement industry (double glazing industry preferred).
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- A full driving licence.
