Our award winning and expanding client is looking to expand their Environmental Litigation department. This is a chance to join a firm accredited by the Legal 500, with an opportunity for the successful Environmental Solicitor to work on a wide variety of work that will boost their portfolio, and the chance to work in a modern office in Cardiff city centre.
The successful Environmental Solicitor will be responsible for managing a large case load, including cases involving group action private nuisances, dealing with JR and LCA work, and also be expected to assist with business development initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
* Dealing with claims effected by various forms of nuisance, for example, landfill sites, sewage treatments works, factories and claims pursued under the Land Compensation Act 1973.
* Managing a large case load with appropriate supervision.
* Assisting the sector in Business Development.
Essential experience required:
* 0-5 years PQE
* Strong organisational and time management skills are required
* Experience in the entire litigation process.
Desirable experience required:
* Experience in dealing with large litigated cases
* IT literate
* Willingness to assist with developing the sector and various practices.
