Role - Senior in-house legal manager
Location - Eurogate, Kent
Salary - GBP55k plus benefits
Reporting to - CFO
This new role of senior in-house legal manager will be principally responsible for advising the company on new and existing leases and related property matters alongside general employment law and contractual advice. It is also expected that the role will be responsible for briefing external counsel on complex or specialist matters.
The role will be primarily based on Ashford, Kent, although limited national travel may be required from time to time. Working from home will also be possible as appropriate.
Experience within the healthcare industry would be advantageous, as would significant experience in property and HR matters.

The main duties of a senior in-house legal manager
* Working with Senior Management Team to advise on day-to-day legal matters as they arise
* Completion and advice on numerous property leases
* Build lasting relationships with specialist external legal advisors
* Overall responsibility for advising on all commercial contracts
* Advise the company on new, pertinent changes to legislation generally
* Advise senior management on HR and employment law related disputes
* Advise and draft service contracts for senior management
Candidate requirements
The successful candidate must be a qualified lawyer, with previous experience advising and completing property leases and a strong appreciation and knowledge of employment law. Prior experience within the healthcare or recruitment industry would be helpful, but not required.
Position subject to full DBS disclosure
A full UK driving licence is required
