Casework Coordinator
Hours: Part Time or Full Time hours available incorporating evening & weekend shifts (see details)
Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2019
Location: Exeter
Salary: GBP20,300 pro rata
Closing Date: 21st September 2018 (Noon)
We have a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to be involved in the set up and delivery of an exciting new service providing a night shelter and support for rough sleepers in Exeter.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience of working with homeless people and people with multiple/complex needs.
Up-to-date working knowledge of housing options, welfare rights and benefits.
Good working knowledge of MS Office.
The successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishing supportive relationships with clients and partner agencies/colleagues.
Assessing, planning and enacting person-centred packages of support which support rough sleepers into appropriate accommodation and services
Ensuring the safety and security of residents and the smooth running of the night shelter
Part Time or Full Time hours available incorporating the following evening and weekend shifts:
Weekday Twilight shifts Monday to Friday 19.30 - 23.30
Weekend Twilight Shifts Saturday to Sunday 18.30 - 23.30
Weekend Morning Shifts Saturday to Sunday 09.00 - 12.30
