Our client is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield, Newcastle and Penrith.
They now have an opportunity available for a Curriculum Department Administrator to join them to ensure the efficient and effective administrative support for the Animal Management Academic Section and its associated commercial or educational resource; this will include collating academic information, statistics and preparing reports. This is a part time role to cover 7.4 hours per week, 42 week per year.
Coordinating the administration of departmental records including: student reports, staff leave, staff sickness, production of course handbooks, assessment plans, external moderator visits and external activities, you must ensure that financial records are accurately and timely produced and liaise with external companies including work experience and industry providers.
You will also coordinate trips and visits on an ad hoc basis and gather and collate stories and photographs for the purposes of social media and send to the marketing department; making bookings and amendments to timetables using CELCAT on an ad hoc basis and coordinating student disciplinary meetings.
A competent user of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel and with experience of working in an office environment in an administrative capacity, candidates must have a good general level of education and ideally hold a qualification related to office administration, such as Business Administration, ECDL etc.
