About the Role

The Operations Team is a core part of the Auction business which is made up of various functions; Yard, Inspections, VCP and Imaging.

Joining us as Operations Team Leader, you will supervise the Yard Team, including Line Drivers, to ensure the efficient running of the yard function. You will support the smooth operation of the yard and ensure sales are delivered on time and with minimum disruption, in line with operating practices and HSE requirements.

You will deal with any problems or incidents in a timely manner and plan in advance, with the Assistant General Manager, how best to support vehicle arrivals in terms of facility available, productivity of labour and equipment , and where appropriate, support the Inspections Team with on going process and movement of inspected vehicles.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who can lead, motivate and inspire our operational teams. Someone who can lead them to deliver operational and customer service excellence. You’ll be able to communicate effectively at all levels, be flexible and able to react to an ever changing environment and have experience of working in a KPI driven environment.
