Plumber / Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (35 hours per week)
Salary: GBP22,000-GBP28,000 (depending on experience)

This Water Hygiene Services company based in Baldock, Hertfordshire is looking to add engineers to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Legionella risk assessments
- Temperature monitoring
- Water testing/ sampling
- Legionella remedial works
- Minor plumbing works
- Water tank cleaning and disinfection
- Shower clean and descale
- Monitoring/management/control
- Chlorination and disinfections (mains and CWST)
- Inspections
- Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves
- Produce schematic (drawings)
- Travel - working in the South East, London and the UK (includes staying away)

Skills Required:

- Have a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in the industry
- Minor Plumbing experience
- Full driving license with 0 penalty points
- Eye for detail, work well independently
- Pride in your Appearance
- IT skills
- Punctual, Responsible, Professional manners
- Good customer service
- Must demonstrate working flexibility

Desirables (not required):

- Plumbing qualified to level 2
- Have health and safety training
- Have experience as a site/field engineer
- DBS checked but can be supplied by uRisk
