Commercial Business Sales Manager
Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Sales Manager. This is a contract role based in London until June 2019, with the potential to extend to a full 18 months.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: £43,900 depending on experience
The Commercial Business Sales Manager is part of our company's regional digital stores team. The commercial digital stores team strives to deliver a world-class, omni-channel experience for our company's commercial customers, particularly small to medium business. The team's focus is on three core priorities

A typical day in this role can include:
" A growth mindset; You'll have the trust and flexibility to invest your time in 'growth hacking'
" Customer insights; Act as the voice of the customer to drive improvements that will deliver increased customer satisfaction
" End to end deal orchestration; Act as a trusted partner to various company sales teams to land large deals and deliver a premium, differentiated customer experience
" Sales strategy and methodology;
o Process optimisation; You'll optimise our Customer Service and Support (CSS) team's impact by driving initiatives to improve the end-to-end customer experience
o New customer acquisition; You'll identify and nurture new customer opportunities by partnering with various company sales roles and by facilitating hand-off from marketing to the CSS team
" Business management;
o Manage the rhythm of business with the Customer Service and Support (CSS) team by leading pipeline reviews, coaching their sales process and acting as the point of escalation
o Improve pipeline hygiene and provide internal reporting of sales KPIs including revenue, pipeline velocity etc.
While it is a junior role - HUGE potential to show sales skill set - the exposure and the opportunity to advance early on in your career is huge. You will have exposure to senior leadership within our company as well as opportunity to present on change management. The ideal candidate will have:
" Around 2 - 3 years Sales experience, preferably technology
" Data Insight skills (a job they've had where they've used Power BI, excel, CRM every day)
" Articulate tangible business results - if they had sales exp they would have put in $ or % that they achieved.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
" Business or technology University Degree preferred
" Experience in sales or business development
" Enjoys helping others by creating a fun learning environment and energising people through your passion
" A self-starter with a track record of achieving goals and a problem-solving mentality
" Solid time management skills and the ability to work independently with a high level of integrity
" Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral, written and verbal communications skills.
" Ability to successfully communicate with contacts via the phone, email, video and presentations
" Ability to derive data driven insights to demonstrate impact e. excellent excel/Power BI and Dynamics365 (CRM) skills
