Gi Group are now working with a forward thinking establishment who are looking to hire a full-time, Junior Chef on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will spend the majority of their time working within the companies caf?? bar. They'll be supporting the preparation and service of all the food served to the general public. The company service many events throughout the year which requires a lot of expecting diners to be catered for.

The Role:
To assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running and management of the kitchen
Take responsibility for overseeing the operational aspects of the kitchen and point of service areas
Ensure customer service is excellent at all times
Ensuring health and safety and food hygiene standards are maintained
Working Hours:
Ordinarily, the working hours required are 40 per week. The normal hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. However, the successful candidate will be required to work a very occasional weekend/evening (with time back in lieu)
Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP25,000 per annum
Skills and Knowledge:
Previous catering experience
Catering / Food related qualification
Strong desire to build a career in the catering industry
