Our client is a fast-growing UK based wholesale company producing luxury and contemporary pure cashmere knitwear. They sell their product principally into the UK, EU and USA markets. They pride themselves in offering fashion forward cashmere knitwear. They specialise in cashmere ladies wear but are developing other collections.
They are implementing new systems and procedures within their accounts department and they are looking to appoint a dynamic accountant to join them. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a top external accountancy firm and to be involved in the integration of new systems, whilst dealing with an international portfolio of clients and varied workload.
In the role you will assist with raising invoices / credit notes; checking purchase invoices, updating Xero along with other accounts platforms. Working on our clients debt portfolio and dealing with expenses, you will assist on the production of various fiscal reports including reporting to key stakeholders and external advisors.
Educated to 2.1-degree level in Accountancy / Business Finance (or similar) and with at least 2 years industry experience (can include 1 year as part of a under graduate year in industry), you will be confident to communicate with clients on a verbal and written basis. With experience of working in a busy office environment and able to manage multiple projects and effectively manage workload, you will have an excellent academic background, be IT literate and proficient in the use of PowerPoint and Excel and confident in analysing data and drawing conclusions.
Experience with Xero would be beneficial but full training will be provided. What is most important is that you are dynamic.
