Our client has an opportunity for a finance professional to provide advice and support to the Investment Governance department. In this varied role, you will be expected to review research on companies to be invested in and ensure that it is carried out on a periodic basis, providing feedback to the Asset Selection Committee. You will perform pre-trade approvals and complete daily monitoring checks on all BMAM funds. With a good understanding of the financial markets, COLL and UCITs rules, you will provide assistance to Compliance with reviewing fund financial promotions, building good working relationships with Funds Authorised Corporate Directors (ACDs) and help to manage project relating to the funds.

With a meticulous approach to work, you will have an in-depth understanding of UCITS and COLL rule and will be accustomed to completing relevant investment research and have knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative analysis of OEICs. You will have a successful background in financial services, ideally within investment, research or compliance. IT literate, you will have gained experience of using one of the main systems we use (Figaro, Morningstar / FE Analytics or Fundware). You will be adaptable to any sudden changes in the daily priorities and able to juggle a variety of tasks simultaneously. This vacancy can be based in either London or Leamington Spa with travel to each office when necessary
