Lecturer in Plumbing
Our client are now looking for a Lecturer in Plumbing to join them on a permanent, full time basis.
Within the role, you will deliver outstanding and innovative teaching, learning and assessment to a wide range of students across the College provision; supporting students to achieve excellence and reach their full potential.
They are looking for an individual who holds a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and who has previous teaching experience. With exceptional verbal and written communication skills, you will demonstrate use of a broad range of assessment measures as a driver to improving learners’ performance and have a proven ability to achieve good learning and teaching standards or demonstrate the potential to attain. They would also like you to be effective in managing behaviour and motivate all learners to make a positive contribution to the learning environment. With good team working skills to include a record of working co-operatively to achieve individual and team goals, you will have good subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the relevant curriculum.
A Level 5 teaching qualification is highly desirable but not essential however they do ask that you are willing to achieve this within 3 years of commencing employment. They also ask that you hold an A1 Assessor award and a V1 verification award or are willing to achieve this within 1 year of commencing employment.
