The job
As Specifications Technologist, the purpose of your role is to be responsible for the population and submission of accurate and on-time retailer specifications and accurate internal specifications, quality contracts and QAS.
You will be one of the main points of contact between the customer and the business, populate 'Gold Standard' specifications (both internal and external specs), manage the process from 'NPD handover' to launch, manage the accurate update of any EPD project work, work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure all information accurately reflects the supply chain, audit the specification system annually, trend complaint information plus ensure all reporting deadlines for both internal customers and all external deadlines e.g. KPI submission, specification critical paths, customer complaint responses, are both known and complied with.
Your experience
We are seeking a committed and positive individual with a good technical experience from within the food industry. You will possess sound working knowledge of product specifications, ideally using the UK retailer systems. You will be an effective communicator, have high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
