An excellent opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to join our management team at our fabulous Fixed Base Operation (FBO) in Luton.

The Operations Manager Role:

Reporting directly to the Station Manager, you will lead the Operations team to deliver a safe, efficient and world-class service to our customers and crew. You will also work collaboratively with all other Luton FBO managers and teams to ensure that the service provided is consistently world-class across the operation.

About You :

+ Substantial previous experience of working within an aviation Operations team
+ Significant management experience including all aspects of line management such as recruitment, employee relations, performance improvement/capability, attendance/sickness absence management etc.
+ A proven record of maximizing performance in teams
+ A full clean driving license
+ IT proficient and technically able
+ A strong understanding and passion for general aviation and airport procedures
+ Exceptional organisation skills
+ The ability to work under pressure in an extremely busy operational environment
+ Demonstrable leadership skills including making difficult decisions, driving performance and dealing with all manner of staffing and operational challenges 
+ Excellent customer service skills, a high attention to detail and a result’s orientated focus
+ An effective communication style, tailored for your audience 
+ A highly motivated outlook which is positive a demonstrates integrity at all times
+ The ability to challenge the status quo with a view to continually evolving to better ways of work
+ Familiarity with IT systems such as Flight Planner, AMOS, Signet, FBO
+ Flexibility and a willingness to perform reasonable tasks as assigned as such covering shifts which may involve working different hours
+ The flexibility to travel both in the UK and occasionally internationally
