Location: Chelmsford, Essex 

Chelmsford (Commutable from Basildon, Braintree ,Harlow and Maldon) 

Salary: from £34,592 to £43,240 per annum

Contract Type: Full Time-Permanent

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Telecommunications and Networks Engineer to join their team at an exciting time as they take on new technologies and systems. Reporting to the Telecommunications & Networks Team Leader you will be responsible for designing, monitoring and maintaining a reliable, secure and efficient Network for the business.  You’ll be a proactive, motivated and enthusiastic individual with a proven track record of delivering support services to your customers.

Our ideal candidate will be Cisco CCNA certified with knowledge of ITIL best practice and IT network support experience across all layers of the OSI model. LAN/WAN enterprise monitoring solutions experience is essential as is experience of supporting wired and wireless networks, firewall administration, designing and implementing WAN architectures and experience of working with 3rd party service providers.

We are welcoming applications from candidates with excellent analytical and report writing skills with experience of researching, evaluating and recommending solutions to issues. You’ll have a proven understanding and awareness of routing protocols, SIP trunking and IP telephony and experience in managing multiple network equipment vendors and the automation of tasks using scripting tools would be advantageous.
