We are currently seeking a skilled sheet metal worker with ability to MIG and TIG weld to excellent standards. Applicants must be able to work from engineering drawings to fabricate various 18swg to 10swg stainless steel and mild steel products. Also skilled in operating general sheet metal hand power tools and machines.
Role of the skilled sheet metal worker:
• Maintain a safe working practices
• Marking out, cutting, forming for production of designated components
• Weld components in stainless steel to a high standard
The ideal skilled sheet metal worker:
• Time Served Engineer
• Confident in working to an important level of accuracy
• Experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines
• Welding experience is desired
Hours of work are 7:30 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 7:30 to 12:30 on Friday.
Rate of pay up GBP12.50 per hour, negotiable depending on experience
