Do you have a proven track record of working with vulnerable people and within a public protection or safeguarding setting? Would you like to play an integral part within an organisation that counts on the professionalism, expertise and passion of its staff to inspire individual recovery for the people they work with?
If so, join Recovery Focus as a Case Manager and start making a difference today.

Recovery Focus is a new group of expert charities with the shared aim to inspire individual recovery nationwide. Between us we have a track record of more than 200 years of developing and running personalised services that work with people with mental health, substance misuse and other complex needs to achieve their ambitions. Each partner organisation has its own rich history of success, but together we believe we can lead the way in evidence-based recovery pathways, tailored to meet local and individual needs.

One of our partners, Richmond Fellowship, is looking for a Case Manager to join their team working on its vital Drive Project. Working across two West Midlands local authority areas, Drive is a new response to domestic abuse that aims to reduce the number of child and adult victims of domestic abuse by disrupting and changing perpetrator behaviour. It implements a whole-system approach through an intensive individual case management intervention alongside a co-ordinated multi-agency response to drive service users to change their behaviour.

This pivotal role will see our successful candidate focus on working on a one-to-one basis, typically for a 10-month period, with perpetrators whose victims have been identified as high risk to proactively secure engagement, influence behavioural change and ensure a link to complementary services.

To achieve this, you will work with existing agencies to design a coordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. You will also work closely with the IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties. Ensuring case files and records are accurate and complete, and are kept and in compliance with Data Protection Act requirements, and maintaining an accurate audit trail are also among your key duties.

Compassionate, collaborative and deadline-driven, you will have extensive experience working directly with vulnerable individuals, male and female, within a public protection or safeguarding multi-agency setting, such as child protection, MARAC or MAPPA. You will also have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and the effective ways of working and engaging with domestic abuse perpetrators, plus a sound working knowledge of public protection arrangements and legislative frameworks.

An outstanding communicator, both verbal and written, you must be confident presenting to a range of audiences, while strong relationship-building and IT skills also vital.

In return, you can expect some great benefits, including 25 days' annual leave plus statutory bank holidays and a contributory pension scheme after a qualifying period.

Applications from Males are encouraged as they are currently under represented at this service.
