About the Role
Joining us as a Vehicle Operations Manager you will lead, manage and drive all aspects of vehicle process management on site and ensure all vehicles are processed as determined by the specific customer process required and managed through the process efficiently and effectively, in line with standard operating practices and HSE requirements, providing customer service excellence at all times.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination of Health & Safety for the entire site, ensuring all H&S documentation and training takes place and is completed in a timely manner working closely with the Vehicle Solutions Operations Coordinator and effectively communicate and undertake structured meetings to ensure all Vehicle Process team are continuously updated and are aware of what is expected, including supporting/holding daily/weekly team meetings in line with current communication practices. This will include continually assessing ways of working to ensure the site is maximising efficiencies working closely with the Operations manager to understand what the daily impact of vehicles will be.
You will have previous experience of HSE legislation and will have a proven track record of managing medium to large teams and working within and meeting SLA and KPI requirements. Proven leadership experience within a similar environment, successfully managing teams and working within rigid regulations and procedures is also important.
We also ask that you have strong customer service improvement skills, proven experience within an Operational/Production environment, experience within a customer facing role with the ability to resolve customer queries and complaints to a mutual satisfaction, a background in a fast paced business environment and budgetary and business planning experience.
