Senior Product Safety Engineer
Glasgow
6 month contract
GBP42.35 per hour LTD
Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a global manufacturing company who operate within the defence industry. They are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Glasgow facility on an initial 6 month contract.
The Senior Engineer will undertake a range of Product Safety activities in line with relevant projects including; Organising and facilitating HAZIDs and review meetings and contribute to other HAZIDs when required. Support the development and maintenance of the inputs to the Safety Case Report (Systems Design Safety Assessments (SDSAs) and Key Hazard Certification reports). The Senior Engineer will review, qualify and approve activities relative to deliverable and delivered items. They will be responsible for facilitating the implementation for relevant Product Safety processes, specifically Platforms.
The successful candidate will have the following:
• Knowledge of platform safety management processes and techniques
• Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering safety in large or complex projects
• Knowledgeable with respect to Product Safety Legislation and Regulation
• Familiar with Product Environmental Legislation and Regulation
