Randstad are recruiting for Team Leaders - Production Managers.

We are looking for ambitious individuals who can demonstrate a passion for manufacturing and managing people. We are keen to hear from individuals that could have recently progressed into production management or applicants that are looking to transfer their skills and knowledge into a business where you can make a real difference.
Benefits
* Starting salary of GBP22000 - GBP25000 dependent on skills and experience.
* The roles are weekly paid and we are looking for flexible applicants that are available and can work a two shift system (6.00am - 14.30pm & 10.30am - 19.00pm). Flexibility is key as certain positions may be required to work until 22.00pm during the busy sales period.
* Hours over and above the 40 basic hours per week are paid at premium overtime and these roles can on average attract GBP30k.
* In addition, a bonus scheme is in operation and this attracts a further GBP1000 per annum.
* Healthcare and Pension scheme (5%)
* In house and external training for a recognised Lean Manufacturing qualification will be provided along with Quality and Safety accreditation..
* A clear progression plan for all successful applicants will be provided.
Production Team Leader Role
* Working and exposure to a number of KPI's of which safety and quality are paramount.
* The ability to manage and plan resources in line with the weekly manufacturing plan.
* Communication in terms of daily briefings and production meetings
* Optimising the efficient use of materials, labour and machinery across a fast paced manufacturing environment.
* An ability to lead your team, embrace change and work closely with all departments to ensure the business achieves its goal of World Class Manufacturing status.
* Identify rising stars within the business, support staff via their Personal Development reviews and provide clear training plans for staff.
