Our client is a global Financial Services company in based in Basingstoke, 5 minutes' walk from the train station. The company offer a great working environment, on site restaurant and excellent benefits.We are looking for an Internal Account Manager with an excellent attitude, high attention to detail and proven ability to maintain great relationships internally and externally.

Accountable for:

Achieve the designated revenue objectives set by the Company, by proactively managing existing dealer relationships and also canvassing potential new dealers to achieve agreed finance penetration rates.Convert new business opportunities introduced by these dealers by negotiating with the end user customer to achieve agreed new business goals.

Ensure that introductory sources are reviewed to aid achievement of conversion efficiencies that contribute to us providing industry leading service and support achievement of our desired cost/income ratio.

Key Activities:

* Handling sales enquiries from designated dealers and converting into new business by negotiation and appropriate follow-up.

* Obtaining required credit information on end users to allow Credit to make appropriate decisions.

* Pro-actively contacting dealers to ensure new business flow is developed and maintained at levels where new business targets can be met.

* Proposing and gaining agreement for new dealer relationships to be accepted as introductory sources.

* Monitoring and reviewing KPIs and SLAs with specified dealers, ensuring agreed sales conversion rates and service quality are achieved.

* Undertaking introductory source reviews in a timely fashion ensuring all dealers remain valid and compliant.

* Maintaining close contact with Key Account Managers to ensure overall Key Account programme objectives are understood and met.

Experience:

•Have a broad knowledge and understanding of commercial finance.

•Have strong communication skills and an ability to influence.

•Numerate with strong attention to detail I can demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.

•Can work under my own initiative, but also as part of a dynamic sales team.

•Will have previous B2B telephone sales experience, ideally within the vendor finance sector or capital goods sales.

Additional Responsibilities:

•Maintaining up-to-date records of all relationship activities.

•Attending and fully contribute to sales meetings and other intra departmental meetings as required.

•Providing regular feedback to Key Account Managers to ensure any remedial actions are taken and new business targets are met.

•Accurately complete all necessary paperwork pursuant to the processing of proposals.

•Any other ad-hoc duties as required by my Line Manager.

•Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, guidelines and the internal control framework establish to guide the operation of their function in addition to regulatory compliance requirements.

Environment:

•Working in a busy open plan office

•Normal working hours are 8:45 - 17:15 Monday to Friday, however may operate a shift system from 8:00 - 18:00 each day. Additional hours will be required on an ad-hoc basis.

•Dress code is business formal Monday - Thursday, business casual on a Friday
