About the role
Sense has some great opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Specialist Support Workers in our Supported Living and Accommodation services across Exeter. We have a range of full and part time roles available working up to 37.5 hours per week, including day and waking night shift patterns. Let us know what works for you!
As a Specialist Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible - helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local caf??.
Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.
We also have casual (bank) opportunities in this area attracting an hourly rate of GBP7.83.

About you
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people's lives.
Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and may include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.
We are particularly interested in candidates with full UK driving licences and/or British Sign Language skills.
