Are you an experienced Legal Secretary now looking for a new and challenging role as a Legal Secretary in Commercial Property?
Our client is a leading full service private practice law firm based in Hampshire with a strong reputation for high standards of client care and providing excellent legal advice to both commercial and individual clients.
Due to further expansion, they now require a talented full-time Legal Secretary to work within Commercial Property in their Southampton office assisting Fee-earners in their various tasks.
Key competencies will include excellent IT skills, flexibility, attention to detail, initiative, strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
The role will be suitable for an experienced Secretary with legal secretarial and administration experience gained within various departments of a law firm but with an emphasis on Property.
Responsibilities will include providing high level secretarial and administrative support to the fee earners and will include:
Audio Typing
Copy Typing
Word processing (competence in Microsoft Word and Excel needed)
Telephone answering and recording of messages and appointments
Communication with clients and others
Dealing with all usual aspects of legal office administration and file management as well as archiving
Liaising with clients in correspondence, on the telephone and in person
Compiling and organising title documents
Drafting standard conveyancing documents and correspondence
Searches
