About the Role:
City of Bristol College is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive individual to the position of Facilities Supervisor. The successful candidate will be working with other supervisors and the Facilities Manager to operate and maintain all college sites to the standards set by City of Bristol College. The Facilities team cover all soft facilities tasks within the college such as security, safety, deliveries, waste, catering, cleaning and basic maintenance.
You will have a good level of education to at least level 3 and have previously worked within the Soft Facilities industry. You should also be able to demonstrate prior experience in supervisory management and be able to communicate effectively at all levels
This position is full time permanent role which could be based at any of the College’s sites across the wider Bristol Area. You will be provided with full uniform, training and guidance
What you’ll be responsible for/what we are looking for:
The role will involve providing
- Leadership of a team of Facilities officers who are working at multiple centres
- Planning and implementation of projects and tasks in line with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s
- Management of service contracts at a site level as well as providing audits and reports on the service to the Facilities Manager
- Working with other Facilities Supervisors to ensure the required amount of staff are working at the centre
- An out of hours response service for intruder and fire alarm activations on a rotational basis
We are looking for someone with experience of soft facilities and who is confident in working in a fast paced environment, with changing priorities.
You will also need to be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders, at all levels, internally and externally, as well as other members of College staff and students.
