I am now recruiting for a world leading supplier and manufacturer of fibre optic products and accessories. Due to recent expansion, an exciting opportunity for a trainee service engineer has arisen at my client's facility in surrey.
Reporting to their divisional manager, the successful candidate will find themselves providing efficient and professional level service and support to customers. This will include performing repairs from the service queue, preparation of my client's products and accessories to hire and loan customers and ensuring all paperwork is completed.
You will also provide technical support to clients over the phone, through email and face to face, as well as conducting technical training to colleagues and distributors.
My client is looking for candidates with a good understanding of electronic engineering. Product and service training will be provided, although preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of Fibre Optics.
Qualifications & Experience:
You must be educated to at least a HND level in a relevant engineering subject; ideally Electronic and Electrical engineering.
Although not essential, an understanding of Fibre Optics would be highly advantageous.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
Candidates MUST have a full UK Driving Licence
