Community Lincs is a charity, based in Sleaford, which works throughout Lincolnshire to make a positive difference to the lives of individuals and communities in the region. We currently have the following exciting opportunity to join our friendly team.
Good Neighbour Scheme Development Officer
Hours of work: 35 hours per week (will consider a job-share arrangement)
Salary: £22,000 per annum
The Good Neighbour Scheme Development Officer is responsible for providing effective development support to Community Lincs' countywide network of established and emerging Good Neighbour Schemes, and to work with communities across the county to assess the need and desire to set up new Schemes.
The role requires an experienced professional with a track-record of working proactively within communities and engaging volunteers. You will have the necessary drive, enthusiasm and creativity to deliver support to Good Neighbour Schemes across the county and to identify opportunities for the development of new Schemes. We require a team-player and an excellent communicator for this role and someone who is confident and able to make judgements unaided and to work independently and proactively within the community.
Travel is required across the county and therefore access to your own car will be essential to this role, as well as a willingness to work outside of normal office hours when required. This post is subject to a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Closing date: 12.00 noon on Friday 24th August 2018.
Interviews: Wednesday 5th September 2018.
