The Office of Intercollegiate Services (OIS) is the over-arching body responsible for supporting the activities of the principal intercollegiate committees, which help the Colleges work together on matters of common interest. Within OIS, a small team of developers (CASC) support a number of College-specific IT tools.

The Colleges wish to appoint one or more highly motivated people to continue the development of specialist software packages for use in finance, recruitment and resource management within Cambridge Colleges. In addition to inter-personal and problem-solving skills, experience of ASP.NET and SQL are required, and some of the following would be advantageous: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, VB, C#, Python, PHP, Perl, HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, Ajax, IIS, Apache.

The postholder will be an employee of the Office of Intercollegiate Services Ltd, a company limited by Guarantee. The successful candidate will need to be able to provide flexibility in terms of days and hours worked across the year.

Applicants wishing to work full-time (37.5 hpw), part-time, or job-share are all welcome. The appointment will be at point 44 of the National Pay Spine (currently £35210 pa, pro-rata for part-time) and will be located in Pembroke College.
