Do you have a passion to deliver fantastic customer service? If so I am currently working on a fantastic opportunity working within a large Finance company based in Southampton city centre with excellent transport links.

My client is looking for a Customer Service administrator to join their busy team on a 1 year fixed term contract.

The main purpose of the role is to administer all aspects of work for the relevant business area, to a high standard and in line with procedures and service standards, in particular the more complex and non-standard cases. To provide technical support and expertise to the department and providing support to project work and system enhancements/system fixes.

Main duties & responsibilities:

- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of application/documentation processing.
- Liaise with relevant parties to chase outstanding documentation required to complete applications via telephone, letter or email.
- Interpret instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the completion of administrative tasks in the relevant area.
- Provide information as requested by relevant methods internally and externally, to assist and enable company operations and effective service to customers.
- Ensure personal statistics are up to date and accurate.
- When necessary update the departmental intranet site.
- To complete all tasks in line with service standards, procedures and compliance guidelines.


Skills & requirements:

- 4 GCSE`s Grade C or above to include Maths and English and/or NVQ Level 1 - or equivalent.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.

Work Hours:

Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need to be flexible and be able to work 40 hours per week, which will be comprised of 8 hour shifts between 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

In return for your hard work our client offers a competitive Salary of between £16,500 - £18,000 per year, depending on experience.
