Working initially with the Sales Manager of this prestigious company the Sales Representative/Executive will be given full product training and introduction to existing clients over a significant hand-over period. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales Executive, working from a home base, to manage their own diary, develop their own clients and contribute to the future of this company as well as their own career. If you have a knowledge of the steel or communal door industry this will allow you to fast track your career and progress to management status quickly.

Key Sales Executive responsibilities:

  • Business development, understanding the market and potential clients in London and the surrounding area
  • Follow up leads from web site, referrals and convert to sales
  • Liaise with clients during the quotation stage, discussing specific door specification requirements and finalise sale
  • Assist in the surveying and snagging of projects
  • Assist with installation to help gain maximum product knowledge
  • Work closely with the company’s manufacturing plant in Scotland and HO in North Lincolnshire to ensure commitment to customers are maintained
  • Ensure timely, full and accurate communication with all relevant parties on any factors which impact on delivery dates, commitment to customers, quality etc
  • Ensure deadlines and targets are adhered to and met

Personal specification – Sales Executive:

  • Proven sales experience
  • Engineering sales background would be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
  • Confident and passionate about the company’s product
  • Knowledge of steel doors or communal doors an advantage
