Contract Personnel are rseeking Production Operatives who wish to train as Deboners / Trimmers to work with our prestigious client based in the Halesworth area. There are a number of roles available in the de-boning, processing or packing areas of the site.
The main duties of the role will include packing fresh or frozen turkeys or chickens ready for sale in a chilled environment. Dismembering whole birds using a knife, detaching part of the wing, leg and breast portions. Cutting away the crop (thick skin around the neck area) and trimming away any small bones, skin veins and gristle. Other general duties around the site may also be required.
There is a target per minute for each product depending on which product is being produced and guidelines to work too, which you will be shown on your first day, while experience of working within a food production environment is preferred, this is not essential as full training will be provided
