Assistant Quantity Surveyor needed in Essex
My clients in are a well-established principal contractor, based in Essex, who get involved primarily in new build projects in the Residential and Commercial sectors. They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has ideally has a years' experience. They are offering an excellent training program giving you a wealth of experience across a variety of sectors.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Permanent Position
Salary up to GBP25K
Your duties will include:
* Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
* Performing risk, value management and cost control
* Advising on procurement strategy
* Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
* Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
* Allocating work to subcontractors
The Requirements:
* Graduated with a BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
* 1 years previous Quantity Surveying experience
* Driving License
* Hardworking and Proactive
* Computer Literate
