Our client is an independent training provider that has been helping young people move forward with their lives for over 30 years.
Joining them as Curriculum Manager, you will manage their curriculum development, including all schemes of work, timetables, lesson plans, qualifications and resources.
Contributing to improving performance, achievement and quality of delivery, you will manage the staff training and development function whilst safeguarding the welfare of all students, preventing radicalisation and promoting British Values.
Coordinating staff qualifications to ensure compliance with industry/teaching standards, you will line manage the training and development team and organise targeted training to improve results. You will manage all qualifications across the organisation, maintaining good relationships with awarding bodies, and maintain and update policies and procedures relating to qualifications, ensuring effective implementation. The Curriculum Manager must also keep up to date with local and national teaching developments and changes in qualifications whilst managing the on-going observations of Key Learning Processes in order to identify areas of good practice and where improvements are needed.
They are looking for an individual who has a positive, bubby and engaging personality and who is highly motivated, innovative and solution focused. You’ll hold a subject specialism qualification, a Level 5 teaching qualification and have previous experience of teaching employability, numeracy and literacy.
With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be able to manage a team to produce results and have knowledge of standards in teaching and training. Able to work independently and use initiative, you will be highly organised, have good presentation skills and be comfortable developing a grade 1 curriculum.
Although based at their Central Support Services in Wolverhampton, this role will involve travel to and working at all their centres, so you must be mobile and willing to travel.
