Music Tutor/ Teacher starting ASAP
***ASD / SEMH School based in East London
***Must be an experienced SEMH and other SEN complex needs Music Tutor or a Teacher, NQT
***Must have music background
*** Must ne available 5 days per week term time only
Would you describe yourself as a teacher that is confident with behaviour management?
Do you have a passion to better the lives of special needs pupils? For this role, you must be willing to teach Music lessons across primary and secondary, up to GCSE level (KS2,KS3, KS4)

You will need to have excellent communication skills, resilience, and literacy and numeracy skills and have the ability to deal with challenging behaviour.
You will be working with small groups as the learners have complex needs and you will be expected to:
* Have the ability to differentiate work according to each child's individual
needs
* Prepare learning materials and supervise support staff
* Previous SEND experience
* Be a positive role model
* Work in a classroom setting
* Be able to see beyond a child's behaviour
* Have a good sense of humour
* Attend annual review and parent meetings
* Keep records of progress
About the School
This is SEN school are looking for a Music teacher to join their strong and expanding team ASAP. This school cater for students aged 8-16 years that have an EHCP for social, emotional and mental health and some students will also have other additional needs. The key aim of the provision is to improve the behaviour, attendance, wellbeing and overall confidence of all pupils to prepare them for adulthood and the working world.
