Role: Customer Service Operative

Location: Clapham

Rate: £8 per hour plus holiday pay and travel

Shift: multiple shifts available

An exciting opportunity has come about with one of our Key Rail client who are looking for enthusiastic customer service individuals to support operations at 2 key Rail Station locations. Offering support to the client during peak times and sporting events.

A fantastic opportunity for those who are looking to gain part time work that is rewarding, flexibility, holiday or term work. Equally this is a great opportunity to showcase and gain experience in a busy and vibrant Rail environment, with opportunities to go permanent for the right candidates.

Key Role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Directing passengers and event goers to the correct locations
  • Answering any questions due to route or service changes
  • Maintain levels of customer experience
  • Engage with passenger presenting visually and verbally a positive and helpful demine

Experience:

Previous events or customer facing experience is advantageous but not essential as training is provided. The successful candidates will be open easy to engage with, have a customer focused outlook and be happy to help. Understand and be happy in a team and crowded environment. Processing of basic information

  • The ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing service environment
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Confident about dealing assertively with all kinds of situations
  • Willing and able to work shift patterns, which may include unsociable hours and bank holidays
  • Meet the required benchmark for application screening questions
  • Must meet required online testing benchmark
  • Reasonable level of general fitness including being able to stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills
