Marylebone Childcare Recruitment is seeking a highly competent and experienced Nursery Nurse on behalf of our clients fantastic Nursery setting in Hainault.

The nursery is looking for a nursery nurse to provide the best possible care and education, as well as ensuring the environment is safe and secure, where the children are valued as individuals through a loving and child-centred approach.

You will work with a warm and vibrant nursery that encourages a home away from home atmosphere with wooden resources and a natural, spacious, outdoor area. The Nursery boasts of a relaxed and caring environment which ensures all children's individual needs are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

* To provide and promote a safe, caring and stimulating environment, which caters for the needs of the children and colleagues within the Nursery

* Ensuring children have access to learning opportunities throughout their time at the nursery

* Following policies and procedures, including knowledge of the EYFS framework, thoroughly and appropriately referring any matters of concern to senior staff

* Key children - following closely the development and progress of these children, developing strong working relationships with the parents and communicating about the child's development on a daily basis

* Conducting housekeeping duties to support the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for children

* Be responsible for a group of children, ensuring their personal and development needs are met and monitored, through planning, observations and by producing regular reports

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

* Level 3 qualified in Childcare/Early Years

* Previous experience working within a similar environment

* Working knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding aspects

* Good communication skills

* Ability to work as part of a team

* Ability to liaise with and develop good relationships with parents
