Insurance New Business Account Handler
Basic 26k - GBP28k OTE GBP30k+
We are currently recruiting for a well-established and fast growing Insurance Broker. They are looking for an experienced new business Account Manager for their Commercial New Business team.
We are looking for people with strong new business development and business-to-business sales, from an Insurance or Financial background. Ideal candidates will have good knowledge of the medical Insurance sector, and be Cert CII.
Our client is a progressive, forward thinking business that will nurture talent and invest further in staff development with on the job training, they will also fund the CERT CII qualified successful candidate who have aspiration to progress within the Insurance industry.
Key Job Criteria:
• Preparing and issuing new business quotations
• Follow up calls to clients to chase decisions
• Database management of prospective and converted leads
• Cross selling of products from the company's portfolio to clients where appropriate
• Answering policy enquiries from new and existing clients
• Performing Mid Term Adjustments (MTAs)
• Liaising with underwriters and insurers to negotiate the best possible terms for clients both at renewal and new business stage
• Operating under delegated authority from insurers
• Being the first point of contact for your portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for the business you write and their needs
