At an exciting time of development that includes ambitious growth strategies, we are recruiting for a Trust and Grants Fundraising Manager to develop restricted and unrestricted trust and grants fundraising income and diversify the organisations donor base.
Trusts & Grants Fundraising Manager
Full Time OR 4 days a week
Circa GBP38,000 per annum (Pro rata for part time)
Maidenhead, Berkshire
Permanent
Duties will include:
* Manage current large grants, working collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising on impact reporting and evaluation
* Build relationships, multiyear partnerships and income from existing trusts and foundations
* Research, develop and maintain new relationships to secure fundraising opportunities
* Write tailored, inspirational applications and project reports addressing grant-making priorities or requirements as specified
* Develop and maintain reporting and application systems and coordinate information across the fundraising team
* Liaise closely with senior managers and teams to plan and develop the strongest possible proposals and build relationships
* Evaluate, monitor and report back to donors in a timely fashion on projects which have been funded
We are seeking candidates with a strong record of achievement in trust, foundation and grant fundraising for this exciting opportunity. The Trust Fundraising Officer role is key to the development of this innovative charity's strategy. We're looking for candidates with a proven track record in successfully obtaining 5 & 6 figure and multi-year grants.
Applicants will need:
* Experience of writing successful fundraising applications to foundations and charitable trusts
* Experience of developing income from trusts, foundations and grant-giving bodies
* Experience of developing and implementing a trust fundraising programme, including acquisition, retention and development
* Ability to write compelling and innovative proposals and funding reports
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences
* Demonstrable ability to develop relationships with grant-making organisations
