Operations Leadership Development Programme

For Graduate Engineers with a passion for leading manufacturing operations

This is a rare fast-track opportunity to grow into a senior role in one of the world's fastest growing manufacturing companies. Permanent position, starting salary up to GBP35,000 + benefits.

Are you passionate about manufacturing operations, the daily challenges it presents, leading your team to achieve demanding goals? Do you also believe you have the potential to run a manufacturing site, perhaps not yet, but soon? PCC are one of the world's leading manufacturers of aerospace and power generation materials and parts with an enviable record of business growth and tremendous career progression opportunities. We are now recruiting Graduate Engineers with one to two years experience in manufacturing operations for our new Operations Leadership Development Programme.

This is a permanent position designed to take the right people and accelerate their development towards a career in operations management. We have a different philosophy to most graduate/management programmes in that we believe people grow best when they have challenging projects that matter coupled with access to high quality leaders and mentors to challenge and support them.

Your development plan will be tailored to your needs and be overseen by our European Director of Organizational Development. With us, there's no getting 'lost in the crowd', you will enjoy immense job satisfaction, experience rapid growth in your skills, face and overcome challenges every day and be earning a good salary while you build a platform for further career growth after the programme. From this starting point, you are someone we'd expect to be leading one of our sites in the future.

For this fast-track one year programme, we are looking for people who believe they have the potential to grow into a senior operations role in one of the world's fastest growing manufacturing companies. You must have a strong mechanical engineering / manufacturing / metallurgy degree, experience of working in manufacturing operations, (you may currently be in a graduate programme or have just completed one) and believe you can contribute to continuing our success.

Successful applicants will typically have a degree (2:1 or 1st) or a Masters in Mech. Eng. or Metallurgy, evidence of proven success in leading people, have spent time working in manufacturing operations (at least 12 months) and are fast learners.

We are key suppliers to all the main aerospace and power generation companies and many big name businesses depend on us for critical components. The chances are that every time you have flown you have been surrounded by our work! Globally our annual turnover is in excess of $13bn, we employ close to 30,000 people and have more than 162 manufacturing sites (12 in the UK alone).

About The Benefits:

Basic annual salary of GBP32,000 to GBP35,000, 25 days leave (+ Bank & statutory holidays), company pension and bonus.
