The programme forms a key element in the Trusts strategy and is instrumental in building a bridge to the future. Based around experienced subject matter experts this team will prepare and support a broad range of existing analogue, digital and hybrid systems through transition to a robust digital information architecture. The hardware, services and systems affected cover a wide range of technology and system lifecycles; some services will be targeted at an incoming Electronic Patient Record System whilst others will be upgraded to a modern informatics design to complement this investment. We seek enthusiastic, dedicated and self-motivated individuals across the following areas: - Application Services Management and Development; Infrastructure Services; Service Desk - Incident, Change & Problem Management; Service, Account and Change Management; Programme and Project Management / Support., We are looking to recruit a Deputy Head of infrastructure Delivery servers and storage here at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. This is a senior post reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure Delivery and will work with the Technical Design Lead to manage the provision of an enhanced level of support to the RD&E infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is capable of providing a responsive and customer focused service to constituent organisations within an SLA framework and will make a significant contribution to service provision within the Trust. You will be joining a supportive environment where you will be encouraged to develop and enhance your professional skills. If you are customer and service focused, have the aptitude to understand the value of technology in a healthcare environment and can help transform the way we deliver care to patients as part of the wider IM&T team then this role could be for you. This position is a fixed term role for two years starting in November, 2018 and ending in October, 2019.
